On January 5 2014, a 9-year-old girl named Spozhmai was detained at a checkpoint in Afghanistan's Helmand Province for wearing a suicide vest. Her brother Zahir, a prominent Taliban commander, had beaten her, forced her to put on an explosive-filled vest and ordered her to blow up a police checkpoint.
Spozhmai had been used as a slave in the family home and was not allowed to read and write. Her brother had told her, "You are here in this world and you will die, you are not here to learn or do other things.”
Her father ordered her to return home, but she refused to obey, telling him: “God didn't make me to become a suicide bomber."
This song is dedicated to her, the Cinderella in a Suicide Vest.
The proceeds from the sale of this track will go to Save The Children.

lyrics
Oh I stroke your hair as you sleep
Bend down and kiss your cheek
You open your eyes and smile
I'll watch over you for a while
And they strap you up and he takes your hand
and leads you to the borderline
'Ask for a ride' he says 'They'll die,
but you'll remain alive'
Suicide Vest
Suicide Vest
Oh I stroke your hair as you sleep
Bend down and kiss your cheek
You open your eyes and smile
I'll watch over you for a while
But I'll hold your hand and I'll lead you away
Spozhmai put your hand in mine
We'll walk away together now
Away from the borderline
Suicide Vest
And when they come looking for you and say
'Your only duty in this world is to die'
Then I'll take your hand in mine
and we'll walk away to freedom
